Background

Although I created this series of works after my Series 3 “Garbage Heads,” 

they represent my view of the world before the time of “Garbage Heads.”

The concept story is focused on how the robots originated from machine trash

when the Earth was covered with trash and human had long gone.

 

Concept Story

During seven days of wrath on the Earth, flames and flood raged all over the world. 

Everything was burnt, crushed and washed away, 

And the world seemed to have come to an end.  

 

After the seven-day storm had raged out,

the world was left in sheer tranquility for a long time.

 

There seemed to be nothing moving in sight.

Vast expanses of trash in some places never washed away.

Some still remained.

 

As the doomsday drew near,

some made hardest efforts to work out means of survival. 

They poured enormous money, time and efforts into researches 

on developing a half-creature-half-machine, 

as well as, on inexhaustible energy sources and robot technology.

Then, as the last resort, they concentrated their entire resources 

on creating and preserving the Strong Seed.

 

The Strong Seed was so viable that they could root and propagate even on the polluted soil.

The Seed instilled with strong life force was named the Garbage Seed.

 

Preservation of the Garbage Seed was put in charge of robots called the Seed Venders

In addition to preserving the Seed, those robots had another huge responsibility.

They were embarked on the satellites orbiting the Earth 

to carry out the mission of sowing the Seed on the Earth 

if there was no sign of life after the prophesied seven-day-storm,. 

.

There were also other robots besides the Seed Venders 

that worked on atmosphere and water to help the Seed grow.

 

These robots sowed 108 seeds in total.
